Speaker - Tiffany A. Flanagan, Director of Business Development for Centinel Educational Services, will focus on
"Building Professional Alliances"

This workshop will highlight how to form professional relationships in the marketplace for value-added client services and market visibility. Topics include choosing professional alliances and establishing a business/marketing plan for alliance activities.

Bill Karp of Karp WoodWorks Corporation will tell us more about his business.

The ABA will be distributing a flyer in the May and October issues of Ashland Directions, listing its members by business category and telling how they support the community. Welcome Baskets
In the spring we will be delivering baskets to new homeowners in town. This is another great opportunity to get your information out to the community. Community  Events:
Business Seminar: The Friends of the Library will be hosting a number of seminars on business-related topics. If you would like to be a presenter or have any topic suggestions, contact John Ellsworth at 508-231-4566.

Ashland Day Committee is looking for additional volunteers to plan the 25th Anniversary of Ashland Day, which will be on September 25, 2010. Meetings at Nick’s Pizza, 7 p.m. the first Monday of the month, began January 5. If you have ideas for the event or would like to join the committee, call Bill Gath at 508-989-0181.

Membership Spotlight
One of the many benefits of being an ABA member is the opportunity to get exposure for your business on the ABA spotlight program on our local cable channel – WACA-TV. There is no charge for this service. Don’t be camera-shy. Call Bob DePeron at 508-816-3312 to schedule an appointment. 

Business Cards at Sunnyside Cafe
The ABA has placed business card holders around town for its members to use free of charge -- another benefit of being an ABA member. Space is available in the rack at Sunnyside Café on a first-come, first-served basis.
